Educata provides unique off-campus student accommodation throughout South Africa. Our private student residences are all in close proximity to university campuses.

Educata recognizes that each person is unique and has their own personal preferences in terms of accommodation and therefore Educata does its best to cater to each individual’s needs and preferences.

One thing that sets Educata apart, is that we offer traditional Male or Female only residences, each with their own unique traditions, history and character. These private residences are the real deal, and students get the experience of a traditional university residence such as unique clothing, traditions, events, activities, sport, pre-cooked cafeteria meals and more.

Educata also offers private accommodation for students who want more independence and don’t want to be part of a traditional “koshuis” structure.

At Educata, independence doesn’t mean you have to fend for yourself though, as such, we have implemented firm but fair House Rules to ensure each resident’s safety, respect and privacy. To ensure our values are upheld, we provide 24/7 support for residents through a management team that includes a Resident Head of House, Head Students, Floor Leaders and Cluster Leaders. This structure creates an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain leadership experience.

Each Educata facility has been designed specifically for students, and with the Live-and-Learn concept in mind. Students live in self-contained flats (called clusters) within a larger residence setup, which offers both an environment conducive to studying as well as a personal home-away-from-home space. Clusters provide privacy and security, but also create opportunities for bonding with new and old friends. For those who prefer ultimate independence and want to stay completely private, we even offer bachelor units.
