Nooitgedacht Block C is a Stellenbosch University-Accredited Private Student Residence. The building consists of 32 clusters made up of 7 and 8 bed clusters, with each cluster featuring two bathrooms, two showers, a kitchen and a lounge.
Various facilities are available to students living within Block C to allow for everyday amenities to be taken care of. Block C is accredited by the University of Stellenbosch and as such, still incorporates on-campus rules and benefits such as access via student card and payment of washing facilities via student card. This affords residents the opportunity to live away from campus and enjoy the freedom of private living whilst still being part of the university.
ACCOMMODATION
The Live-and-Learn concept of clusters within a residence is conducive to a study environment and cluster allocations are done according to study direction and age. Requests to share with specific person/s may be accommodated. Various accommodation opportunities exist within Block C’s residence. All to cater for each individual’s needs the options include weekday shuttle, hot water usage and weekly cleaning of communal areas.

Although Block C is a private off-campus residence, it is accredited by the university of Stellenbosch and therefore incorporates a body of team leaders to ensure students experience student life and manage the safety and guidance of students living at Block C.

Whilst allowing students to enjoy a student lifestyle away from the more rigid rules of university res, a looser structural system is still required to ensure the safety of students, assist students in personal and academic adaptation and to ensure that their living environment is conducive to studying. Our team leaders are here to guide your child/ren should the need arise, and to ensure the residence itself is well-kept. They are a team of friendly students and ex-students who are here to build a relationship with your child/ren and to assist with any problems should they arise.
